about
Thank you for visiting my website! Here you can find brief information about me and about shopping in our online store in English.
I live and work in a small village in the eastern part of Bohemia (the Czech Republic) and have been making pottery since about 2017. I am now a full-time pottery maker.
I love exploring new ceramic technologies, especially the glaze chemistry. I fire my pottery in an electric kiln, cone 7-8 (temperature around 1220-1250°C), and in a wood-fired kiln, cone 10-14 (temperature around 1280 – 1380°C).
I enjoy working on the tea ware as well as the dining ware the most. All of these I use myself in the kitchen and love to prepare and serve food in them for the whole family. As a former barista I also like to make custom equipment for cafés and restaurants.
In any case, out of respect for this rare material, I only create functional ceramics.
I am very fortunate to have a wonderful family that supports me unconditionally in this beautiful craft.
shipping
We also send goods from our online store abroad. While making your order you’ll see the list of available countries we deliver to, and before confirming your order you will get the price for shipping displayed there too. The shipping cost depends on the weight of the products and country of destination. Delivery takes usually 1-2 weeks for Europe and 2-6 weeks overseas.
If you would like us to send the goods to a country that is not in our offer, please contact me, and I will keep you informed of the price. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me as well.
You can pay via the Comgate payment gateway. Please note we cannot send goods abroad as cash on delivery. Payment can be made using all major debit and credit cards. You will receive a confirmation email and an invoice after completing your order and the payment.
There is no reservation time for your items placed in your shopping cart; unfortunately the items are not reserved for you until you finish the payment at the checkout.
Shipping cost does not include paying customs duties; if it is necessary to pay customs duty in your country, please check your country’s customs duty policy – this applies to countries outside the European Union. You should be able to find this information at your customs office. The HS tariff code for our goods is 6912002111.
I pack the pottery very carefully, especially abroad packages, so it doesn’t happen that our customers receive damaged pieces. If this yet happens, please contact me with photos of the damaged item and packaging materials for a refund of the goods. If you are not satisfied with your order, you can legally return the goods within 14 days. I will refund you the price for the goods but in this case you pay both shipping costs. Please feel free to ask, if you have any other questions or doubts about the goods ordered.
The whole process from production of the goods to packing and shipping is handled by only two hands – mine. So please bear with me. My “office hours” for handling the correspondence are always on Monday and Thursday evenings, and I ship the packages on Tuesday and Friday mornings.
Thank you very much for your patience and understanding.
